"Pronom personnel" et "pronom clitique" : faut-il les distinguer? Caractérisation des pronoms personnels

Characterization of the French personal pronouns.The French personal pronouns recover diverse and varied morphological, syntactic, semantic and reference functionings. The terminology evolved, without being clarified, at the same time as the concerns for the discourse analysis. Considering this, we propose a characterization of the French personal pronouns on the basis of their distributional properties. This characterization will so lead us to distinguish three classes of personal pronouns ("affix of V", “nominal” and “adjunct of V”) and to prove that certain pronouns if they have only one base form can belong to two or three different classes. Finally, we shall try to answer at the question: do we have to distinguish “personal pronoun” and “pronoun clitic”? Is it two different pronouns? The “pronouns clitics” are they a subclass of “personal pronouns”?Les pronoms personnels recouvrent des fonctionnements morphologiques, syntaxiques, sémantiques et référentiels divers et variés. La terminologie a évolué, sans être explicitée, en même temps que les préoccupations pour l’analyse du discours. Face à ce constat, nous proposons une caractérisation des pronoms personnels sur la base de leurs propriétés distributionnelles. Cette caractérisation nous amènera ainsi à distinguer trois classes de pronoms personnels (les "affixes du V", les "constituants nominaux", les "adjoints du V") et à montrer que certains pronoms s’ils n’ont qu’une forme peuvent appartenir à deux ou trois classes distinctes. Enfin, nous tenterons de répondre à la question posée dans notre titre : faut-il distinguer "pronom personnel" et "pronom clitique"? S’agit-il de deux pronoms distincts? Les "pronoms clitiques" sont-ils une sous-classe de "pronoms personnels"? Si oui, comment les distinguer
